What was the highlight of limehome Madrid Calle Ave María - estancia temporal
Beautiful central accommodation to discover Madrid
The location of the apartment is awesome. All the important sights were within walking distance. This allowed us to discover the beautiful corners and alleyways of Madrid. The nearest metro station was 5 minutes from the accommodation. The apartment is in a lively neighborhood. Many restaurants of all cuisines were to be found. The nearest supermarket was 1min away. The apartment was very large. 2 bedrooms and a living area with kitchen + balcony. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space. The apartment is equipped with all necessary household appliances, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer etc.. The beds were comfortable and big enough for two adults. Communication with the Limehome staff was great. All important information, such as how to get the door code, was sent by email. Any questions during the stay, would be made via Whatsapp. They answered us immediately and helped us further.
Since the apartment is in a busy neighborhood, it is a bit noisy at night. If you like to sleep with the windows open, you probably won't find it so easy to sleep as it will be a bit noisy.

Overall very comfortable but prefer better location.
We booked this property however the owner asked us to use another property in Calle San Lorenzo. Hence the comments relate to that property. Good size 2 bedroom apartment, east access with elevator.
Would have preferred a different location as originally requested. Some areas close to this apartment seemed a bit rough.

In general, I am very pleased with this apartment. I will stay here again if all those deficiencies are fixed
Very clean apartment. Relative convenient location, proximal to most popular tourist, destinations; within walking distance. Many local café, grocery stores and close to Metro stations.
Shower spills out of the bathroom onto the floor because the glass screen is only partially covered and the bottom part sealant came off allowing more shower water to leak out onto the floor. I did not notify the management as I don’t want maintenance workers to make a mess of the bathroom since I have already moved in. Most nights are very quiet but the I couldn’t sleep for a few nights because people next door were talking past midnight. I believe it is because the partitions are not thick enough to shield off sounds.
